This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of products form this website. The shop on this website is primary for the use of third party sellers and these conditions relate to all sales of products from this site.
When you place an order to purchase a product from CSL, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we’ve dispatched that product to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract.
Please review our Returns Policy below, which applies to products purchased from us. In addition to your 30-day returns guarantee, customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days. Details of this statutory right and an explanation of how to exercise it are provided in the order confirmation e-mail and in the Returns Policy.
Pricing and availability
We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, including on each product information page. Beyond what we say on that page or otherwise on the website, we cannot be more specific about availability. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
We will inform you by e-mail if the availability estimate changes or if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Despite our efforts, a small number of products may be mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
You can return your purchase to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, clothing must have labels attached and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. Parties other than CSL sell product lines on this website. For example, artists are selling their CDs through this site (third party sellers). In addition, we provide links to the websites of affiliated companies and certain other businesses. The returns policy in respect of CSL and of third party sellers is set out below.
If you receive an item that is different to what was described, or that is clearly in worse condition than indicated, please contact us and your seller directly (this is likely to be the artist from who you have bought the goods through us) to report the defect or damage within 14 days of receiving the shipment. You should be able to reach an amicable agreement with one another. If necessary, you can return your item to the seller for a refund. If you need to return an item due to a fault on the part of the seller, you can request reimbursement for return postage costs, however please bear in mind that you are only entitled to a refund of the total cost of the order. To be eligible for a refund, you must contact the seller within 14 days and you will need to return the item to your seller in the same condition you received it within 30 days of shipment.
Please note that where indicated that items are being sold by third party sellers those items will have been shipped by the third party seller and returns need to be returned directly to the seller and not to CSL.
If the item you purchased is a software title or CD, your seller may refuse to accept the return if the item is not defective, damaged or different than described. When writing to the third party seller to arrange for its return, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the problem with the merchandise.
There are no returns more than 14 days after delivery. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Except as described under ‘Refunds’ below, shipping and handling charges for returning items are borne by the buyer. To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, we suggest that you return any item valued at over GBP 40 with a tracking number such as that offered by Royal Mail Recorded Mail service. If the order is valued at GBP 50 or more, we suggest that you insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise. Find more information below on how your refund will be handled.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the first 7 working days after delivery and there has been no error, you will be refunded the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows: (1) where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, you will be refunded the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred, (2) where you are returning an entire order, you will be refunded the applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred, (3) only standard postage charges for items delivered outside the UK may be refunded , (4) where an item is collected from you, the seller will have the right to recover the costs of collection from you, and (5) if you use a personalised pre-paid return label, the seller is entitled to deduct the return postage from your overall refund. Please note that, with respect to returns initiated during the first 7 working days after delivery, the sellers is not required to refund the cost of giftwrapping, returning the item, and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item because of an error on the seller’s part or because it is defective.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between 7 and 14 days after delivery and there has been no error on the part of the seller, the seller is only required to refund the cost of the item. Please note that, with respect to returns initiated during the period between 7 and 14 days after delivery, sellers are not required to refund the cost of giftwrapping, delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase. If you use a personalised pre-paid return label, the seller will be entitled to deduct the return postage from your overall refund.
In any case where a refund is necessary – such as when your seller is out of stock and cannot ship, or when you return an item – it is the responsibility of the seller to request that refund. We provide sellers with instructions on how to create refunds.
Sellers may issue full or partial refunds for an order. If a new unwanted item is returned opened, the seller may deduct a reasonable restocking fee from your refund.
Refunds are typically processed by CSL within one week of the seller’s request.
Items in your CART will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item’s product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your basket. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item’s price may decrease between the time you place it in your basket and the time you purchase it.
Some discounts are limited-time offers. Also, as the discount we are able to offer for any item is dependent upon its availability,The price will necessarily change on occasion.
We cannot confirm the price of an item until we receive your order.
When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
